You can rent a generator on just about any corner in the western U.S. A fusion machine is a different story. Most rental counters don’t stock them, and the ones that do usually can’t tell you which machine matches your pipe size, wall thickness, or fitting type.
AHS Fusion Sales does one thing: plastic pipe fusion equipment for HDPE and PPR-RCT. We keep our list of fusion equipment manufacturers to three we know inside and out, so every unit that leaves our shop is dialed in, fitted with the right inserts and tooling, and ready to fuse pipe the day it lands on your jobsite in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, or anywhere in between.
Ritmo, Front and Center
Ritmo is the brand we lead with. For over 40 years this Italian manufacturer has been designing welding machines for plastics, and the depth of the line shows it. Three butt fusion families cover 1 in to 24 in pipe: Compact two-clamp machines for tight quarters, Basic four-clamp frames with logged welds, and Delta machines up to trailer-mounted rigs. Around them sit the Switch 125, R125Q, and Prisma UP 125 socket and outlet tools, the Elektra S and Elektra M electrofusion processors, and the Top Gear 630 cutting saw.

McElroy and Widos
McElroy
McElroy has spent 50 years building fusion tools, every one of them made in the USA. We carry McElroy for socket and outlet fusion on PPR-RCT: the Spider 125 socket machine, the Hornet and Hornet XL outlet tools, live hot tap tooling, and socket heater kits. When the job is inside an occupied building, this is the bench.
Widos
Widos builds butt fusion machines in Germany with the precision you’d expect. Our W5100 covers 8 to 16 in pipe and carries a removable fourth clamp, so it welds tees and works in confined spaces where a full frame won’t fit.
And the pipe itself
On the PPR-RCT side, the pipe in this country comes from three manufacturers: Aquatherm, NUPI Niron, and Aquatechnik. Our machines fuse all three systems, and we ship each rental with the tooling for the brand you are running. Learn the differences in our HDPE vs PPR-RCT guide.
