Not every job needs another machine; sometimes it needs the right kit. McElroy socket fusion kits cover fittings from 16 to 125 mm and are built to fuse all major brands of polypropylene pipe and fittings. The heaters are microprocessor controlled to set and hold temperature in any field condition, the electronics are fully field serviceable, and every kit rides in a durable custom toolbox that keeps the tooling organized and protected.

Alongside the kits we rent McElroy hot tap housings for live taps and the Widos metric reducer set for the W5100. Everything below rents on the same daily, weekly, and monthly terms as our machines.

McElroy Hot Tap Tool Housing

Tap live PPR-RCT mains from 32 to 63 mm (1″ to 2″) with no shutdown. The tool seals the system, the cutter drills through the saddle fitting and retains the coupon and pipe chips, and the branch goes in without a minute of service disruption. Hand- or drill-powered, rated to 165 PSI, and dimensioned for tight spaces.

The rental includes the shaft assembly, 32–63 mm housings, cutters, and a carrying case. Running complete branch installs? The Hot Tap Productivity Package pairs this tool with a Hornet and a load cell pressure adapter.

McElroy Small Heater Kit

Manual socket fusion for 16 to 63 mm fittings. The 700W heater runs on 110V or 230V with microprocessor control that holds temperature steady in any field condition, and the 20 ft power cord keeps you off the extension cords. Two heater stands give you three mounting options: toolbox, bench, or freestanding.

McElroy Large Heater Kit

The bigger heater for socket work up to 125 mm. The 1,600W element carries the same microprocessor control and field-serviceable electronics, on 110V or 230V. The kit includes the socket heater, heater sling, support frame, and bench mount, so it sets up wherever the fitting is.

McElroy 20–125 mm Socket Kit

The complete adapter set for manual socket devices, 20 to 125 mm. Every adapter wears a durable Teflon coating with the pipe size and part number clearly marked, and the kit includes the storage box, adapter tray, and depth gauge tool. Pair it with either heater kit and you are covered on every size of the branch line.
