What it is
The W5100 is Widos through and through: made in Germany, built on a rugged steel frame and base, and meant for field fabrication. It is a hydraulic butt fusion machine for pipe and fittings from 200 to 450 mm (8″ to 16″ IPS), and it welds in position, horizontal, on an incline, or dead vertical, so the machine goes to the joint instead of the joint coming to the machine.
The fourth master clamp comes off the base, turning the W5100 into a repair-style tool for welding tee pieces and for on-site work in small, confined spaces. The heating element is electronically adjusted with an indicator, and the control box takes a single power feed and handles the rest: output supplies for both the planer and the heater, plus the hydraulic power the weld needs.

Power & Generator
The W5100 runs on 230V single phase. Single-source power from the control box means one feed in and two feeds out: 1,400W to the planer and 3,500W to the heater, with the hydraulics controlled from the same box. Details are in our power and generator requirements guide.
Materials
The W5100 fuses HDPE and PPR-RCT pipe, and the catalog rates it for PVDF as well. Tell us the material when you book and the machine ships set up for it.
