What it is

The Switch 125 is Ritmo’s answer to vertical welds and on-site socket fusion in the 25–125 mm range. A friction-based, lockable carriage system (patent pending) stops the carriage from sliding open under gravity, and it gives the operator real sensitivity over the pressure applied, both during fusion through the multi-fusion device and sockets and during saddle socket welds.

Three self-centering clamps fix pipe and fitting precisely through side knobs, and reducer inserts take the working range from 25 mm up to 125 mm. The clamps unhook from their seats and mount reversibly, so the machine adapts fast when the weld situation changes, and the manual socket rotates rapidly in its seat to flip the fusion direction without losing time.

At 109 lb in standard composition it moves on and off site without a lift, and it runs on ordinary jobsite power. If your work is PPR-RCT risers, mechanical rooms, and tight retrofits, this is the machine that makes clean socket joints where a bench setup cannot go.

Power & Generator

The Switch 125 runs on 110V or 230V single phase, 50/60 Hz, drawing 1,400W total. Wall power or a small portable generator covers it comfortably. Details are in our power and generator requirements guide.

Materials

The Switch 125 fuses PPR-RCT pipe and fittings. Tell us your pipe and fitting sizes when you book and the machine ships with the inserts and sockets for the job.
