What it is
The Delta 250 Trailer is Ritmo’s electro-hydraulic butt fusion machine built onto its own trailer, with two steering wheels that make moving and positioning it on the job site easy. Every functional element rides on board, so the rig is powered and ready in just a few moments, and two lateral rollers take the fight out of loading and unloading pipe.
The machine body lifts off the frame when the joint is down in the excavation, and it reconfigures for welding fittings and flange necks between the third and fourth clamp. The electric milling cutter is on board with its own coupling system, safety microswitch, and thermal motor protection, and SmartLock inserts lock and release without any tools.
The removable control panel carries a GPS device for job site traceability. Easy Life automation walks the operator through programming and welding, stores up to 20 favorite work parameters, and logs up to 4,000 cycles as downloadable PDF reports through a USB port. It welds to ISO 21307 high pressure and ASTM F2620.
