What it is
The Compact 630 puts 24″ capacity in a two-clamp body that detaches from its frame, so you can work on the ground, suspended, or in tight quarters where a full four-clamp spread will not fit. For big-bore work in the trench, that compactness is the whole point.
The electro-hydraulic gearcase rides in a protective box and gives you precise, powerful control of the welding cycle, including a Dual Pressure mode. Clamping, facing, and fusion pressure all come from the power unit, so joint quality holds steady from the first weld to the last.
The heating plate is Teflon-coated, with an independent verification thermometer for temperature checks. The electric milling cutter carries long-lasting blades, a safety microswitch, and motor overload protection, and the detach device triggers the heating plate release during the exchange phase to keep plate swaps quick.
