What it is
The Compact 250 takes the two-clamp, tight-quarters idea up to 8″ pipe. The machine body detaches from its frame, so it works on the ground, suspended, or in the kind of cramped excavation where a full-frame machine is a non-starter.
Ritmo’s patented SmartLock system locks and releases reduction inserts with no tools, which cuts setup time on every joint. A detach device supports the heating plate and mechanically kicks it free during the exchange phase, and the electro-hydraulic gearcase manages pressure precisely, including in Dual Pressure mode.
For mid-size water, sewer, and irrigation runs from 2″ to 8″, this is the fast, packable option. Need weld records on the same range? That is the Basic 250 Easy Life.

Materials
The Compact 250 fuses HDPE and PPR-RCT pipe. PP-R facer blades are available, so tell us the material when you book and the machine ships set up for it.
